2. Objective
The objective was to create an e-commerce website that would be a marketplace where buyers and sellers could meet. To create a very interactive and easy-to-use User Interface, it will be easier for the sellers to manage their inventories and check their sales. For buyers, it should be easy to navigate throughout the website and an easy checkout process.
3. Challenges
While setting up any e-commerce website the first priority is that its UI should be user-friendly whether is for the buyers while keeping their inventory at the back end or for the customer while they purchase from that e-commerce platform.
Along with the UI of the website, the website should also be interactive and should be designed to impress. The website can always lose brownie points if the design elements of the website lack the appeal to impress the customers.
4. Solution
Virusha.Tech shared created multiple types of e-commerce website layouts and designs which were easy to use and understand. Out of those, a few design files were selected and were implemented after a thorough discussion and understanding of the goals that Blue Barrows wants to achieve with its website. Special care was given to the Payment or the checkout process and for the inventory keeping for the sellers.

Design Process -
Step 1: Design Interview We need to get to the bottom of who you are, what you stand for, and who you stand beside. Only then can we begin to create a design that portrays the value you offer in a way that resonates with the people who matter: the people you want to do business with.
Step 2: Design Presentation Three new design concepts will be designed. Naturally, there will be a common theme, but we try to think outside the box and come up with something that isn't obvious. We'll go through these options and decide which direction to take and adjustments accordingly.
Step 3: Website Content Now we have your design locked in, we can begin to construct the website. Our copywriter will be in touch with you to help put your ideas down through the "voice" of your new brand. Any photos will need to be gathered at this stage.
Step 4: Website Build Using everything we've gathered, your website is built. Once it's done, we'll present it to you and go through the details in accordance with the objectives originally set. Any amends are made at this stage.
Development Process - Step 1: Planning Phase First, we connect with the client and analyze the pros and cons of the existing website and plan the next steps. This phase includes:
- Updating the site map
- Reorganizing existing content and identifying where new information will go
- Reviewing competitor websites to compile effective keywords and search engine optimization (SEO) Step 2: Development Phase Once we are all on the same page, the rebuild begins. This part includes New home and interior pages; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript compliance; Content Management System (CMS) creation; CMS configuration; Migrating existing content to the new site, and Optimization for mobile. Step 3: Testing and Beta Phase Now that the nuts and bolts of your new website have been created, it’s time to see it in action. This phase includes:
- Code and browser testing
- Analytics setup, through Google or others, to capture site user data
- Putting the site to work to see how it handles video, images, and text, and then making necessary adjustments. Step 4: Launch Phase We are almost there. This is the most exciting moment of the website design for the client. This phase includes -
- New Host Set Up
- Domain Name System transfer
- Setting Up Email
- Going Live
